Segal Consulting is an actuarial, employee benefits, compensation, and human resource-consulting firm. In addition to traditional actuarial valuation services, Segal Consulting provides consulting services in the area of plan design, funding requirements and contribution policies to retirement boards, plan sponsors and collective bargaining parties. In California, we provide consulting services related to 1937 CERL systems, CalPERS contract agencies and independent public retirement systems. Segal also has an arm that specializes in technology consulting and pension system implementations. Our California public pension plan valuation clients include twelve 1937 Act county systems, five city retirement systems and the University of California Retirement System.
