Under direction of assigned attorney or manager, provides specialized secretarial, complex clerical and advanced technical support to assigned attorney staff within the Retirement Office; and performs related duties as required.

Written Exam (100%): Will be conducted for the purpose of assessing the applicant's knowledge of The Kern County Retirement System or similar benefit programs; laws and regulations covering retirement benefits and coverages; customer service principles, effective business communication methods; office practices and procedures; business math and computerized systems and software applications.

Written Exam:will be conducted on October 15, 2025 Written Exam: (Weight 100%): Will be conducted for the purpose of appraising the applicant's knowledge of the principles and practices of institutional investment management; financial analysis and modeling; the principals of modern portfolio theory, portfolio management, risk management, investment analysis, and quantitative and statistical methods; defined benefit pension administration; and actuarial methods.
